Abstract

This article discusses three models designed by school leaders to support the development of whole-school leadership capacity. The models suggest structural options by which principals can provide ongoing middle leadership development opportunities while maintaining focus on school-wide initiatives. The research underpinning these models comes from international and local schools in East Asia. Copyright © 2021 Australian Council for Educational Leaders.
