What “seams” have been bridged in seamless vocabulary learning?: A review of the literature

Abstract

Despite seamless vocabulary learning studies have been implemented for about ten years, little is known about what seamless vocabulary learning studies are, how they have been conducted, what the learning outcomes are, and issues and trends for seamless vocabulary learning. This literature review aims at addressing the questions related to seamless vocabulary learning under the framework of instructional design, research design and research results, and identify trends and issues of the pedagogical design and practices.
