Abstract

For the technology teacher, the thought of conducting research may evoke emotions of fear, anxiety and frustration. The knowledge base required for research is often perceived as being extensive, leaving the teacher impotent in attempting any endeavor. This article will attempt to alleviate some of these concerns by explaining the basic process necessary to begin scholarly pursuits. Keep in mind that what is presented are only guidelines. You are free to make necessary adjustments to the process, depending on the scope of the research and skill of the researcher. Copyright © 1995 International Technology Education Association.
