Abstract

In view of the current issues of social network applications in education, this paper proposes six suggestions for school educators to use social network for teaching and learning. Moreover, it uses a lesson on the topic of "History of Hong Kong" to demonstrate how an educational social network platform - "Edmodo" can assist Grade Four students in constructing knowledge in a Hong Kong primary school. It sheds light on how a lesson premised on an experiential learning model using a social network can be delivered.
