Abstract

To understand teachers' capacity to bounce back from daily challenges in teaching (vs. acute adversity as studied in resilience), a new scale was developed. A confirmatory factor analysis revealed a 5-factor structure model with good fit indices. Further analysis revealed satisfactory to good reliability and satisfactory content and discriminant validity. Copyright © 2018 Association for Psychological Science.
