Abstract

This chapter introduces the concept of Intellectual Capital (IC) and articulates its management approach to school leaders to address accountability and sustainable development issues. School leaders have been seeking ways to enhance their professional accountability and management abilities to address the challenges of managing student diversity and fulfil the performance indicators required under the quality assurance mechanism imposed by their governments. They are expected to enhance the professional competency of teachers and staff and build collaborative relationships with external parties to develop more supporting resources. A framework including strategic leadership, collaborative culture, knowledge management, and digitalisation is proposed to manage their IC. Copyright © 2023 selection and editorial matter, Eric C. K.
