Abstract

This paper focuses on the reasons why people of different sexual orientations in Asia (mainly in mainland China) are keen on rotten culture under the dominant culture of heterosexual hegemony. Due to the privacy aspect of the study, this study uses a qualitative research method and is conducted through voluntary personal interviews. This study reveals the reasons for and similarities and differences in the preferences of people of different sexual orientations and different genders for rotten culture, thus reflecting the possible problems in today's society and the attitudes that the general public should adopt towards rotten culture.
