Abstract
Extracts of activated and digested sludge were used for cultivating Chlorella pyrenoidosa and C. salina in the laboratory. It was discovered that the growth rates of the freshwater and marine Chlorella species cultivated in the extracts were higher than in the conventional media, Kuhl medium, and the MAV enrichment medium.
