Abstract

Team-based learning (TBL) is defined as a special form of collaborative learning pedagogy with a fixed sequence of individual work, group work and immediate feedback from content experts in the creation of a motivational framework. Students hold each other responsible for coming to class prepared and contributing to team discussion of predesigned scenarios. In this presentation, the speaker will share the implementation process of their TDG project on the application of TBL in courses of various programmes in EdUHK. Preliminary research findings on the effects of TBL on students’ learning will be presented. Copyright © 2017 The Education University of Hong Kong.
