Abstract

This proposal is the Department of Chinese's plan to raise participants' learning quality, enhance classroom observation and evaluation during teaching practice. In this project, tutors from the Institute will work with mentor teachers in schools as a team in classroom lesson observation. Through pre-practice instruction, conferencing during and after observation, observation and evaluation, it aims at raising participants' capability in lesson design and teaching performance and training mentor teachers' skills in classroom observation and evaluation. There will be a series of activities to enhance the classroom evaluation criteria of the Department of Chinese, promote effective assessment in learning, strengthen and enrich teacher education.
