Abstract

This project will support the subject review and development exercise in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. The project team, led by the Associate Dean (Programmes/334)(AS), consists of representatives from the subject areas in the Faculty. The objectives of the project are to: (i) review the existing subject components identifying the core, elective and additional elements for the new undergraduate programme, (ii) consider the module offering plan, (iii) to design new areas of study in the major, minor and other related domains, (iv) to work out how the curriculum can be best implemented for the double cohorts, (v) to configure learning pathways for students, (vi) to revise the admission requirements and (vii) to determine elements that can have early implementation prior to 2012.
