Abstract
'Review of the Core Curriculum for the Implementation of the 334 Academic Structure: Music, Physical Education, and Visual Arts' is a one-year TDG project initiated by the CAPE. The aim of the project is to review the BEd Core Curriculum of the subjects of Music, Physical Education, and Visual Arts in light of the: 1) New Senior Secondary School Curriculum; 2) implementation of the new '334' academic structure; and 3) adoption of the Outcome-based Education approach. With the support of a research assistant, academic and teaching staff will engage in an extensive review of all the subject modules. Curriculum documents obtained from local and overseas tertiary institutions will serve for bench-marking purposes. The expected outcomes will be a refined and updated curriculum designed for the BEd programmes under the custody of the FAS.
