"Phonotopia": A convenient package to enhance the English phonics ability of Chinese children with reading difficulties

“Phonotopia" is an empirically tested package which compiles an array of instructional ideas to teach English phonics skills from an extensive network of instructors of English phonics. This package serves as a platform which allows instructors to enhance the self-efficacy of students in applying English phonics knowledge through games. It comes with a CD-ROM with electronic teaching resource tools for facilitating online real-time classes during the pandemic. Teachers can also adopt this package for any existing phonics curriculum that their units/ organisations are using.

「拼樂園」是一個以實證為本的英文字母拼讀法 (Phonics)教學資源套，彙編了一系列有助提升英文拼音課程的教學意念和方法。資源套能為教師提供教學支援，通過遊戲提升學生的英語語音意識，幫助他們建立自我效能感。資源套亦附帶一張 CD，內含可促進線上教學質素的電子教學資源和工具。教師也可以將此資源套融入任何現有的英文字母拼音課程。 Copyright © 2022 EDTECH Conference.
