On the inversion of Vandermonde matrix via partial fraction decomposition

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapters

Abstract

A new approach to computing the inverse of Vandermonde matrix via the associated partial fraction decomposition is presented, where the latter can be obtained easily by using the Heaviside's cover-up technique. It can provide us insight on the relationship between the Vandermonde matrix and the associated partial fraction decomposition. This approach is suitable for either hand calculation or computer programming. Copyright © 2015 World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.
