On the inversion of Vandermonde matrix via partial fraction decomposition

Abstract

A new approach to computing the inverse of Vandermonde matrix via the associated partial fraction decomposition is presented, where the latter can be obtained easily by using the Heaviside's cover-up technique. It can provide us insight on the relationship between the Vandermonde matrix and the associated partial fraction decomposition.
