Abstract

This is a case study of creafing a Learning Sfudy Communify for promoting feacher professional development and student effective learning in a secondary school in Hong Kong. The single case study analyses how a Learning Study Communify is creafed in an aided secondary school. Hall and Hord's (2006) strategies for change, and Kotter's (1996) model of leading change have also been adopfed as the analytical framework. Resulfs show fhat fhe case school applied Koffer's (1996) model fo initial change, and Hall and Hord's (2006) strategies were also identified as supporfing factors for creating a Learning Study Community.
