Abstract

The current study examined the relation between children’s conditional reasoning and their mathematics skills. Children’s conditional reasoning significantly predicted mathematical problem solving after controlling for potential confoundings, and the relation was mediated by number sentence construction skills. Relation processing maybe the underlying mechanism of the above relation. Copyright © 2017 ICPS.
