Abstract

An alternative model of Inter Cultural Understanding in Education (I- CUE) is put forward. By identifying the intersections and divergence in culturally embedded ways of knowing, valuing and understanding that the shape the world views of education partners, it is possible to design curriculum, pedagogy and organisational systems that combine the strengths of global commonalities without sacrificing cultural difference and uniqueness.
