Abstract
Barley and soybean residues obtained from two food processing factories were used as culture media for Chlorella pyrenoidosa in the laboratory. It was discovered that the growth rate, protein and chlorophyll contents were higher than those growing in Bristol medium which is recommended for growing organisms of Chlorophyceae.
