Abstract

This workshop is designed to provide beginning researchers a basic introduction to the process of writing for publications, focusing attention on educational research journals. A brief overview of journal publishing is presented, including targeting a journal for your manuscript, the review process, reasons why manuscripts are rejected or accepted, how to structure your manuscript to enhance the rate of acceptance, and how to handle rejection.
