Abstract

The aim of the present study is to investigate the mediation effect of PsyCap and its four constructs has on collegial social support (CSS) and occupational burnout (OB) in the education sector in Hong Kong. A total of 99 participants responded to the online cross-sectional questionnaire which consisted items on collegial social support, PsyCap and occupational burnout. The results of the study suggested a partial mediation effect of PsyCap presence within the mediation model. A positive association is found between CSS and OB; whereas a negative association is found between CSS and PsyCap, and PsyCap with OB. All rights reserved.
