Abstract

The development of the Chinese Language Education Curriculum of the new century emphasizes the collaboration of front-line teachers and professionals from different sectors, so as to foster leadership in curriculum development, deepen educational innovations in Chinese language subject and promote the development of new measures. Using the Shuxiangkuaijie : Children Reading Promotion Project and the Children's Literature and Thinking Education Project as exemplars, this paper aims at analyzing the positive effects of the design and implementation of the children's literature curriculum through the collaboration of frontline teachers and teacher trainers. Moreover, the author examined the teacher professional development and its contributing factors in the process of collaboration with specific cases.
