Abstract

Drawing from the social exchange theory, this study examined the associations between family-friendly employment practices, work engagement, and well-being. A three-wave prospective study was conducted on 400 employees with family responsibilities in Hong Kong. Results showed that work engagement mediated the relationships between work arrangements and subsequent burnout and flourishing. Copyright © 2023 ICPS.
