Abstract

Educational leaders have the choice to address social justice issues or manage the status quo. The studies in this symposium apply concepts of social justice in Costa Rica, Hong Kong, Israel, Mexico, Spain, and the U.S. to examine the question of what helps and hinders the work of school directors. These qualitative studies were an attempt to understand the challenges from the point of view of social justice leaders.
