Abstract
Integrating interactive artificial intelligence (AI) into sign language interpretation represents a transformative approach to enhancing educational inclusivity for deaf students. This paper explores developing and implementing an interactive AI system to facilitate real-time translation between sign and spoken language, empowering deaf individuals to communicate effectively within educational environments. While Sign Language is recognised as a valid language, deaf students often encounter significant barriers to educational attainment due to insufficient communication support. This study examines the unique challenges faced by deaf students and evaluates the potential of AI-driven solutions to bridge these communication gaps. The findings suggest that implementing interactive sign language, AI can improve communication outcomes, promote social integration, and cultivate an inclusive learning atmosphere. By equipping educators with innovative tools to support diverse learners, this research contributes to the ongoing conversation surrounding accessibility and inclusivity in education.
