Abstract

The TDG project, "Understanding Global Issues through Cross-Faculty Collaborations" aims to enhance the global awareness of students through the courses with global elements that they take, and their interactions with exchange students, where applicable, and also faculty members whose background is from other parts of the world. It promotes incorporating global elements or enhancing global perspectives into course content, which will help the internationalization of the curriculum across the University, and collaboration among teaching staff to use global issues as the theme in course design. Joint activities are arranged across different courses where applicable. In addition, global awareness can be attained through outside-classroom activities, like seminars, talks or study trips.
