Developmental and educational psychology for teachers: An applied approach

Dennis Michael MCINERNEY, David William PUTWAIN

Research output: Book/ReportBooks

Abstract

There are many excellent developmental psychology texts available, but there are few that take teaching and learning as their specific focus. Developmental psychology texts are often quite encyclopedic, and readers can be overwhelmed. In this text we have selected material that we believe is of most relevance to students preparing to be teachers across the broad spectrum from early childhood through to early adulthood. Our selection is based on our extensive practical experience of teaching, learning, and researching, with a clear focus on effective education. Copyright © 2017 D. M. McInerney & D. W. Putwain.
