Abstract
Creating enhanced learning environments based on the opportunities affected by the Internet has become a hotly debated topic among educators. It is certainly true that many educational research and ICT projects have reported a variety of outcomes and lessons learned with regard to these powerful new media and how teachers can effectively integrate technology into learning and teaching, but there has been little public debate about the nature of these opportunities or how they might most effectively be introduced.
