Abstract
In this article the author discusses the political aspects of climate change and global warming. Drawing conclusions taken from articles published in this issue of the magazine the article examines governmental issues surrounding emissions control and climate change. He states that climate change goals and perceptions can change as science develops. Among other issues the author notes that governmental regulation calling for 50% cuts in greenhouse gases are already out of date and that complete carbon sequestration is required.
