Abstract
This paper examines both principles and best practices in designing and teaching large online or hybrid courses (more than 60 students) for undergraduate students. A model of best practices in online or hybrid course design and conduct is created based on the widely-accepted seven principles for quality undergraduate education and our extensive review of literature related to online teaching and learning. This model can guide universities of similar settings with their online teaching or training. Copyright © 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
