Abstract

The research aims to discover the challenges and the opportunities of carrying out the STEM/STEAM education to review the needs of schools for implementation. The purpose is to help teacher to rethink the needs of education for the new generation and discover how to support teacher for implementing the STEM/STEAM education.
In researching finding, it is understood that the values of STEM/STEAM education are to enhance comprehensive ability, breed problem solving, foster creativity. It hoped to reform the education system to enhance learning autonomy and learning interest. Although the schools would like to carry out STEM/STEAM to develop a better learning environment for students, they are facing various challenge. Discovering challenge and channel the challenges into opportunities was discussed.
