Abstract

AEROFit (健美樂) is a new initiative funded by Knowledge Transfer Project that targets to promote physical activity for pre-school children. In the project, the team designed an aerobic gymnastic routine and physical game to be implemented in kindergarten. A teaching manual provided with lesson plans was produced. In addition, to enhance teachers competence to this new activity, out-reach training and workshops had been conducted. The project also included a showcase where parents are invited to view their children performance of the routine.
