Abstract
Teaching Web design could be a long journey with bottom-up approach from introducing the concepts of remote and local sites, colour theories, selecting and embedding right multimedia, and getting your students to know various Web authoring tools. With Web applications and highly availability of Internet access, learning didactic concepts and hard coding are no longer fit to our Net generations. Paradigm shift to learning-by-doing with fewer instructional-led activities allows room for students to explore, choose and embed. The outcomes of learning will be more individual and meaningful, longer attention span and self-directed learning could be authentically maintained.
