香港非華語學生中文書面語表達能力探析

Abstract

近年香港的少數族裔人口不斷上升,引起社會關注。中文敎育的效能直接影響這些非華語學生的升學和就業發展,而中文水準的高低往往取決於書面語的表達,筆者是以蒐集實證探析這個課題。根據非華語學生的中文寫作練習及考試表現,本文評估這些學生的中文書面語表達能力,從而推度他們的學習需要,並建議可行的敎學策略。研究結果除了揭示香港非華語學生學習中文書面語的階段性成果外,還反映中文作為第二語言學習者的仲介語表現,可供國際漢語敎學參考。
The recent increase in the population of ethnic minorities in Hong Kong has caused social concern. For these non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students, the effectiveness of Chinese education has a profound impact on their further education and career development. As writing is regarded as a key indicator of proficiency level, this author has collected authentic evidence for a study. By analyzing samples of daily writing exercises and exam scripts by NCS students, the Chinese proficiency of these students was assessed, their learning needs were identified and possible teaching strategies were suggested. This paper not only reports the results of the study, but also depicts the interlanguage of second language learners of Chinese, adding a new reference to teaching Chinese in international contexts.
