Abstract
通過對1947~1949年間發表在香港《華僑日報‧兒童周刊》上的兒童文學作品的研究發現，其中主要刻畫了兩類兒童形象：一是受壓迫的童工；二是思想進步的新兒童。這些兒童形象雖帶有一定的政治化、成人化特徵，但是，在當時特殊的政治環境與社會背景下，其表達了創作者進步的社會理想，有其真實性與功能性，對當時小讀者的創作與人生價值取向以及包括香港在內的中國社會發展都產生了較大的影響。
After the study of children literature works in Wah Kiu Yat Po-Children′s Weekly(1947~1949), two kinds of images of children have been found: one is oppressed child laborer; the other is advanced new children. Although these images of children have some politics and adult characteristics, under the special political situation and social background, they express the advanced social ideals of the authors, possess the reality and the function and also greatly influence the creation for younger readers, life value orientation and the development of Chinese society.
