《香港學校改進的關鍵因素及策略》

Abstract

本文建基於香港中文大學大學與學校夥伴協作中心的學校改進計劃「優質學校計劃」的經驗,總括出香港學校改進的關鍵因素。作者特別就收到不同類別學生的學校,提供具針對性的建議,包括領導的作用、專業支援的價值、提升教師能量,以及如何在教與學的策略上使學校持續改進。最後,更提出較為宏觀的教育政策建議,協助學校改進。
Based on the experience of the school-improvement project “Quality Schools Project” launched by the Centre for University and School Partnership of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, this article describes the conditions and critical factors in school improvement in Hong Kong. Referring to schools with different student-intake, the author suggests possible strategies on improving schools, including factors concerning leadership styles, values of external professionals, teachers’ professional capacity, and learning and teaching approaches. From a macro-perspective, how educational polices should respond to school improvement are also suggested. Copyright © 2003 香港中文大學敎育學院,香港敎育硏究所.
