Abstract
「香港人權監察」是一個獨立於政府、政黨或機構，立根於香港的民間團體，是香港少數在法律和日常生活上促進人權，並推動人權教育為宗旨的民間團體。本文將介紹「人權監察」的成立背景、日常工作、優勢及不足、及未來工作展望，令讀者可以從宏觀角度對一個於香港從事人權工作的非政府組織加深認識。
Hong Kong Human Rights Monitor is a Hong-Kong-based civil society organization independent from the government, parties or agencies, aiming at promoting human rights and human rights education in the legal field and daily life. This note introduces why this organization was initiated, what does it do, its advantage and shortcoming as well as its future prospect.
