電腦課程的發展

Abstract

1982 年電腦科開始成為香港中學課程,發展至今,初中有普通電腦科,高中有電腦科,大學預科有高級課程電腦科及高級補充課程電腦應用科。本文主要在評述香港各個電腦課程發展,由課程設計與施教,其間所遭遇的困難與爭論,包括教學法、課程內容、考核評鑑、教材資源與電腦設備等。此外,本文亦分析展望在資訊科技教育新紀元下,電腦科作為學校課程的一部份所扮演的角式。最後,文章總結影響香港電腦課程發展幾個重要因素。
In 1982, Computer Studies became to be a school subject in Hong Kong secondary curriculum. Up to now, there are Computer Literacy in junior secondary curriculum and Computer Studies in senior secondary curriculum, as well as Advanced Level Computer Studies and Advanced Supplementary Level Computer Applications. This chapter is to describe and review the development of the curriculum of computer subjects from the design to the implementation covering the difficulties encountered and debates raised. These include the teaching methods, contents of syllabi, assessments and examinations, teaching resources, and computing equipment. It also reviews the role of computer subjects in school curriculum in an age of information technology in education. The chapter concludes with a discussion on several major factors that affect the development of Hong Kong school computer curriculum. Copyright © 2000 The Hong Kong Institute of Education.
