Abstract

教育統籌局(2005)在《高中及高等教育新學制:投資香港未來的行動方案》中,決定全港高中學生將在2009年必須修讀通識教育科,並在2012年進行第一次全港性評核。自從有關安排公布後,全港學校均在初中甚至高中學習階段進行不同模式的通識教育科課程設計及教學實踐,當中累積了不少寶貴經驗,為未來新高中通識教育科奠下了良好基礎。本文分為兩部分:第一部分評析現時學校準備通識教育科的狀況,初中通識教育科的課程與教學設計,以及初中與新高中通識教育科銜接的關鍵因素;第二部分提出準備新高中通識教育科課程與教學的兩條進路,為銜接初中與未來新高中通識教育科提供建議。
As stipulated in The New Academic Structure for Senior Secondary Education and Higher Education — First Stage Consultation Report by the Education and Manpower Bureau in 2005, all senior secondary school students will take Liberal Studies as a compulsory subject by 2009, and be assessed in 2012. In response to the change, different approaches on curriculum and instructional design for Liberal Studies are being practiced in both junior and senior secondary levels. These valuable experiences have to be consolidated so as to lay the foundation for New Senior Secondary Liberal Studies (NSSLS) curriculum. This article consists of two main parts. The first part focuses on the discussion of the current preparation and the design of Liberal Studies at junior level; the critical factors in alignment with the senior level will also be revealed. The second part proposes two approaches for the curriculum and instructional design in NSSLS for a better preparation for this new discipline. Copyright © 2008 趙志成、麥君榮.
