透過創意數學教學培養兒童的高階思維能力

Abstract

真正的數學教育並不是單單要求學生學習計算技巧和理解基本數學概念,而應包括透過不同的策略,誘導學生主動學習,使學生能夠透過主動的、具創意的思考過程,獲得學習的成果。本文嘗試透過數個小一的數學題目作舉隅,說明如何通過不同的教學設計,在數學教學過程中培養兒童的高階思維能力,鞏固他們學習得的數學知識及解難技巧。
Real Mathematics education does not only aim at learning skills and understanding basic mathematical concepts, it should also aim to develop pupils’ creativity and ability to think and solve problems. Thus, discovering good strategies of stimulating pupils to think become the major issues in mathematics education. This paper will use some primary 1 mathematics questions to illustrate how well-designed questions can nurture children’s higher order thinking capability. It is expected that mathematics teachers will learn the strategies to reinforce their students’ mathematical concepts and problem solving skills after studying this paper.
