資料搜集增進幼兒理解資料書之研究

Abstract

資料書是兒童圖書的一種,教師很喜歡用作教學教材,家長也很喜歡買給子女閱讀,希望他們能從閱讀中獲取更多知識。本研究藉着資料搜集的方法,以三位五歲幼兒為研究對象,測試他們在參與資料搜集活動後對資料書的興趣表現及理解程度。研究結果顯示,資料書有助幼兒將知識與個人經驗結合,發展建構,形成概念,從而提昇他們對文字及圖像的興趣。因此資料書確能有效增進幼兒對書本內容的興趣和理解。
Source Book is one kind of children’s books, which is widely used by teachers as teaching material and is well received by parents for enhancing children’s learning. In this study, three 5-year-old children were recruited to assess their interests and understanding after the intervention of using source books in learning activities. The results showed that source books could positively help children relate knowledge to personal experience, help children develop and consolidate concepts, and arouse their interest in learning words and visual images. Hence, source books are useful in enhancing children’s understanding and interest in readings. Copyright © 2008 The Hong Kong Institute of Education.
