Abstract

Lots of Xie ling-yun’ poems have always been regarded as landscape poems, because landscape ("Shan-shui") is the main element of appreciation in his poems. However, his body and posture are also regarded as the element of appreciation in his poems. Especially he liked to travel in between hills and rivers ("Shan-shui") and he wrote landscape as well as his body and posture in his poems. There are some poems in which Xie ling-yun has specially paid more attention to his body and posture rather than landscape.
