Abstract
早期壯侗語和苗瑤語，因方言的差異，一些詞的輔音韻尾變為相應的鼻音韻尾(或相反)。粵語有一批具“陽入對轉”關系的詞語，可能與壯侗、苗瑤底層有關。
This paper points out that at least 12 pairs of nasal/stop alternations in three Yue dialects (Guangzhou, Lianjiang and Nanning) are correspondent to those in Kam-Dai or Hmong-Mien languages. Early dialect variations in the languages of these two branches had made various words endings with stops developing into corresponding nasals(or vice versa). These variations are partially reflected in the Yue dialects, which contain sizable substrata originated from Kam-Dai and Hmong-Mien due to large-scale language shift after the early Yue speakers populated the southern land several centuries ago.
