立本與示範:一九四零年代關於大學國文的討論

Abstract

本文對一九四零年代中國高等教育界圍繞大學國文的討論加以梳理及重新審視。討論的參與者對如何定位大學國文課程這一問題表述了不同觀點:或主張大學國文以文化素質教育為中心,或強調宜以寫作技能訓練為重點,也就大學國文教材的編選、大學國文與中學國文的關係、大學國文選文中的文言文與白話文等問題展開討論。其中涉及的議題、表達的觀念對當今的大學語文(大學國文)教學仍具有啟發及借鑒意義。
This paper investigates the College Chinese course held in the 1940s, and discusses the nature and features of College Chinese, relationship between College Chinese and secondary school Chinese courses, and the balance between classical and vernacular Chinese in College textbooks and so on. Different views are examined in the paper. Some of them are still influential in the current discussion of College Chinese. Copyright © 2017 中華書局(香港)有限公司.
