科學與文學:中國語文教科書的科普作品探究

Abstract

是次研究,分析香港兩套小學中國語文教科書,發現教科書科普作品所估比例低於課文篇章總數 6%。教科書科普作品的安排佈置與學生的年級發展沒有明顯關聯,內容題材集中諸如月亮、海洋等傳統題材。另外,教科書「科普作品樣本」大多是介紹生活事物或借助文學表達方式的說明文,較為重視文學和資料,若能兼重科學與想像,更能開闊學生的生活視野。
This study investigated two sets of primary Chinese Language textbooks in Hong Kong, aiming to analyse the adoption of science fiction in Chinese language textbooks. The findings of this study illustrate that science texts occupy less than 6% of the total texts. Distribution of the texts is loosely related to the year-group of students. Traditional themes such as “moon” and “ocean” are introduced instead of modern innovations. Most texts adopted literary presentation strategies. Nevertheless, practical teaching needs reflection on the gap between science and literature, and information and imagination. Copyright © 2017 中華書局(香港)有限公司.
