Abstract
圓錐曲線有著悠久的發展歷史，應用也十分廣泛。本文以「當電筒照在牆壁上」的經歷作切入點，引發中學生對圓錐曲線的探究，並討論它們的幾何性質、歷史及應用。
Conic sections have a long history of development and extensive applications in the human society. In this paper, starting from the daily experience: “when the flashlight shines on the wall”. We discuss on how high school students can explore about the conic sections. The geometric properties, historical developments and applications of conic sections will also be studied.
