Abstract
隨著港人居於內地的子女跨境上學日漸普遍,他們獨特文化背景和家庭特性都在挑戰著香港邊境學校的教學效能,值得教育工作者進一步的關注。本文從跨境學生父母的社經地位角度去分析學生的學習特性,討論與學校與家長合作的挑戰和契機。最後,內文建議以全面性的支援模式去正視家長對跨境學生學習的重要性。
The increase in the number of border-crossing students in Hong Kong schools deserves more attention. Their unique cultural background and family characteristics have challenged the administrative and teaching effectiveness of the receiving schools. This paper highlights their learning characteristics with reference to the socio-economic status of their parents. And in so doing, it offers an analysis of the challenges and opportunities of school-home collaboration. This establishes the need for promoting a comprehensive support system by addressing the role of parents in the education of border - crossing students.
