Abstract
明末清初的儒者本著一個會通的觀念,在舊有的學術基礎上進一步擴大,在不同領域、不同範疇的學問中做整合和串聯的工夫,重新探索真理。不同的會理方式,合而成爲清代儒學思想中的會通思想。
清代儒學背後的思想成分至爲豐富,但究其內容,又頗與宋明理學的課題不甚類似,可謂各有深造,亦各有所得。清代三百年間儒者從多方面所闡發的「會通」觀念,顥示清儒思想的一個靈活的面相。
本文除前言及結論外,主要從八個方面論述清儒的會通思想,分別爲方以智(1611-1671)「盈天地間皆物」的會通,顧炎武(1613-1682)《日知錄》的會通經史,萬斯大(1633-1683)、毛奇齡(1623-1716)的會通《五經》,唐甄(1630-1704)、王源(1648-1710)的文武兼通、全祖望(1705-1755)的去短集長之旨、章學誠(1738-1801)「由委溯源」的會通、王念孫(17441832)以經學通諸子學,和章太炎(1869-1936)以儒學通諸子學。
This paper is mainly to discuss the thought of ”connection” in Qing Confucianism, and the famous scholars Fang Yi-zhi, Gu Yan-wu, Wan Si-da, Mao Qi-ling, Tang Zhen, Wang Yuan, Quan Zu-wang, Zhang Xue-cheng, Wang Nian-sun and Zhang Tai-yan were included. These ten Qing scholars believed that knowledge of different fields were inter-connecting to but not isolating from each other. Some of them used the concept of the Five Classics to interpret history, while some used the method for studying ”Classics” to study philosophical works. Thus they exhausted themselves in figuring out the internal relationship between knowledge of different fields. Some of them even suggested theoretical description for the concept of ”connection”, like Quan Zu-wang and Zhang Xue-cheng. Copyright © 2001 政治大學中國文學系.
