Abstract
本文旨在藉香港「早期介入」的實施現況以說明此服務是透過醫療、教育及社會福利等多種專業人士組成的團隊共同合作而成,能為有特殊需要嬰幼兒的發展進行診斷、評估和干預,從而有助降低他們發展受阻的程度,以及增加他們重回發展正軌的機會。此外,「早期介入」亦有助家長獲得照顧孩子需要之技巧。
By examining the current practice of early intervention programme for young children with special needs in Hong Kong, it is understood that the implementation of this programme incorporates a multi-disciplinary team from the medical, education, and social welfare fields and thus, it is possible to diagnose, assess, and intervene in the development of the young children. Through measures taken by the team, it is also possible to alleviate the problem of developmental delay and help the children getting on-track with their development. In addition, it could also help the parents of children with special needs to gain skills for taking care of their own children. Copyright © 2007 The Hong Kong Institute of Education.
