淺談科大非專業日語教學

Abstract

本文試就非專業日語教學,從香港語言環境的特點及社會需求出發,介紹香港科技大學語言中心非專業日語課程的教學特色,簡述如何根據學生的學習動機來設計課程和編寫教材,並介紹該課程的授課方法以及教學效果等方面的情況。文章內同時建議,為了達到較有效的學習效果,強調靈活應用語言的傳意法應該是一個較理想的教學方式。
When designing a foreign language course such as that Japanese in Hong Kong, curriculum designers should take into consideration the society's language setting, the socio-economic needs as well as the students' learning motivation. In this article, the authors examine the Japanese courses offered at the Language Centre, Hong Kong University of Science and
Technology, with respect to curriculum design, materials development, teaching methodology and learning outcomes. They suggest that a communicative teaching approach should be adopted to equip students with the necessary skills to develop communicative competence in the language.
