Abstract

講者將檢視現時特殊學習需要統籌政策的實施,並簡略引述教師支援有特殊學習需要學生(特教生)的實況。隨著學生的學習差異性變得更複雜,我們首先論述現政策下在主流學校為特教生提供支援時所遇到的挑戰,繼而兩位特殊學校教師將演示以不同的科技為特教生解決學習困難的個案。政策制定者希望透過特殊學習需要統籌員改善主流學校全校參與模式的融合教育。不管主流或特殊學校,教師同時亦需要探索不同的教學法以配合特教生的學習差異。特殊學習需要的各種支援正隨著此雙軌並行的發展策略而作出轉變。講者期望透過講座討論如何進一步改善政策,在不同學校加強學習支援,為特教生提供更好的學習機會。
This presentation aims to examine the current special educational needs (SEN) coordination policy and teachers’ practices in support of SEN students. We first highlight the challenges to provide SEN support for the students in all public schools. Then, we introduce a case study of two teachers who have explored different technological pedagogies to address the challenges to student learning in a special school. The policymakers seem to adopt a two-leg approach to fostering integrated education for the students studying in ordinary public schools while teachers need to explore new pedagogies for the students’ diverse learning needs regardless of the school types. We also discuss how to enhance the students’ educational opportunities through the SEN policy and support in ordinary and special schools. Copyright © 2018 Learning & Teaching Expo.
